Vincen García is a Spanish bassist with excellent technique and 14 years of experience, known for creating a modern sound and energetic performance style. The son of a vocalist mother and a trumpeter father, Vincen spent his childhood surrounded by music, tours, and concerts. Volunteering to play bass in his school band, young Vincen stepped into the world of four strings. Self-taught, he quickly developed a powerful sound and expanded his repertoire with increasingly complex and demanding rhythm patterns.
Since 2014, he has been touring with the band Funkiwis and has recorded three albums, performing at Spain's most important festivals. He has also played with bands of different styles such as Mafalda, Doctor Pitangú, Blue Caravan, and Mediterranean Roots, and participated in the musical of Seguridad Social. As a session bassist, he has recorded with La Mari from Chambao on "Avanzadoras," Mafalda on "X," and La Fúmiga on "Fánatics de la serendipitat." His broad bass guitar skills allow him to masterfully play in various formats, from studio sessions to live performances.
During the pandemic, he focused on growing his Instagram account, sharing nearly daily videos. His technical skills, groove, and sound have positioned him as one of the most followed bassists on Instagram. In 2023, he released his first solo album, "Ventura," and performed live in cities such as Madrid, Valencia, Barcelona, London, and Manchester with great attendance. In the fall of 2023, he was invited by renowned guitarist Cory Wong to join a European tour. In 2024, he performed at the NAMM SHOW in the United States, supported by Pitbull Strings, Ampeg, and Yamaha.
