Angelo Roman is an exceptional young bassist from South Africa. He joined the Rising Stars family when he was just 14 years old, and his talent made it easy to predict his bright future on the international music scene.
Following in the footsteps of his father Rixi, who is also an extraordinary bassist, Angelo began playing the bass guitar. As a young boy, he started attending his father's performances and developed a deep love for the sound of the bass guitar. Later, he met the phenomenal bassist Victor Wooten, and Angelo was captivated by Wooten's work on the bass guitar, leading him to transcribe Wooten's songs.
Angelo has played with South African artists such as Joseph Clark, Bobby van Jaarsveld, and Anais. He was also the bassist for the 942 band from the famous South African radio station Jacaranda FM.
