Júnior Braguinha started playing the bass guitar at a very young age. His first concerts were with his father in a church band. He began playing on professional recordings at the age of 14.
As a bass virtuoso, Braguinha has a unique style of blending genres and rhythms such as Fusion, Funk, Jazz, and World Music. He is a highly sought-after bass guitarist among gospel artists in Brazil, having recorded with Jack Ribas, Leonardo Gonçalves, Daniela Araújo, Família Soul, Coral Kemuel, and Renato Max.
In addition, he has played and toured with prominent names in Brazilian music, such as Jessé, Alexandre Aposan, Fininho Drums, André Guede, and Silvio Depieri. Braguinha is also a member of drummer Virgil Donati's band. In 2016, he recorded a DVD with Brazilian guitar virtuoso André Nieri.
